I like the humphugger console.. I was just trying to find a nice picture of one in the car.. How do you like it. I keep leaning on the passenger side seat.. For some reason I have to have somthing there to lean on..

IT LOOKS GREAT!

i once had a similar problem with a pertronix. the vacuum advance wasn't bolted down properly (the screw was loose from factory). The problem with that is that the ignitor module is gettign it's ground from there, so occasionally cutting out. usually when you are in the middle of overtaking ... check on that. it's easy to spot with the fact that you can move the vacuum canister up and down. it should be solid to distributor (it took me ages to find this problem ...)

booger, i do like the console and it gave it that little extra something with the brushed aluminum plate around the shifter.

68, i do love this car and the looks it gets while driving it.

kalli, thanks, i will look at that also. i have heard some bad things about pertronix but i dont like points either.

vineman, to answer your question more specifically, there were many times i stood back and smiled.

1. getting the interior done
2. putting the motor in the car and hearing it for the first time (with open pipes)
3. putting the new wheels on
4. putting all the sheet metal back on and seeing my hood tach sitting there. (i love the hood tach)

but i quess what put the biggest smile on my face was driving it for the first time.

That looks great! I love the color. That hood tach is sweet. I liked it better with the cragars though.

Great work!!!!!!!!!

thanks again for the compliments.

tx, i was wanting a more agressive look than the cragers and they looked kinda small on my 69. i also like the tach.... alot.

kalli, i am putting a new distributor in tomorrow. maybe that will fix it.

4reboy, i put undercoating, insulated heat shield and new carpet in the floor. fiero seat conversion, white guage faces, repainted the metal and plastic interior pieces, new radio, renewed the shifter bezel and the console. that should just about cover the interior.
