can someone tell me what is the best and average turbo to stick on a 289? and how much do boost will i get out of it.. thanx

 

Crickets...you are not going to find many people on this forum who boost their classics. There are a few, but those few who do often use blowers not turbos. You may have better luck posting in the 5.0 section since a 289 is very similar.

Its a stock engine you can only run maybe 8psi if it will hold that.And turbo on a carb can be done but its a real pain to get prefect.Your best bet is buy a 5.0 build it up a little and turbo that with the efi its easier to keep the air to fuel ratios right.
