7" is the one for all the early Mustangs except maybe the '69 which uses the dual setup. Those may in fact still be 7" (don't know), but they use separate high and low beams.

I've got those cheap street rod style Tri Bars. They work fine, but you'll have to modify your headlamp buckets because the bulb is larger. You have to cut the rear hole larger.

No offense to anyone that has these headlights, but I wouldn't put them on my car. I would just get a headlight relay kit and then get some Xtravision halogen sealed beam replacements. I have this setup and it works great. The Xtravisions are actually increased wattage from 35 to 55 for the halogen sealed beam. Most newer cars are 55-65 watts. You will need to do the 30 amp relay mod for the lights though. The factory headlight switch is not designed to carry the load of halogen bulbs.

The 69 has smaller headlights than 65-68 and 70 and the few years after.

I have these on my car and they plugged right in with no modifications or anything.
Have had them about 2 years now without any issues.

Yeah, there's a bit of difference in the 189 dollar jobbies and the 50 dollar ones

in Europe there's quite a lot of people converting the Headlights from the "Minis". They are the exact same size so I can get them all over the place for 50$
I'm delighted with that as they're standard H4 lamps that are very easy to replace.
