Anyone? I went to Salvo's to buy the Holley Chilton book....Too much money,
and my local library carries it but its checked out ATM.

yes, i bought a holley 600.
30 bucks WITH a TricKit to rebuild it.

Just make sure you pay attention to where all the parts go that you take out, and if you have questions, ask. Taking them apart is a good time to examine the metering blocks and learn how they work.

Metering blocks.... yeah...
riiiiight.... Just like anything else i thought i could take it apart and put it back together the way i found it, i guess it's from from that easy... I'll read up tonight, and finish tomorrow.
I have one question for now...
# 27 in the pic above... HOW THE HELL DOES IT COME OFF?!

Is that what it has, metering plates on the secondary rather than a metering block? As long as it's apart you could just replace the plate with a secondary metering block for that carb.

#25 is a clutch head screw. You'll need the appropriate driver or bit. You can get these pretty cheap at Sears Hardware, since they also have some construction applications.
