What is calspo coral is it a newer color? Do you have a picture of a car with that paint? I think I found a car that color online. Are you talking about calypso coral?

Remember my comment before about how they are never done? Well ealier today one of the hood hinges collapsed while closing the hood and the hood hit the fender and it chipped the paint on both. Damn It!!

That color is pretty sweet for a 69-70.

Well I replaced the hood hinges with the new ones that recently arrived and one of the new ones collapsed on the driver side this time. I also used new springs. They are stiffer than the OEM springs or maybe the OEM springs are just worn out.

It appears that the springs are just too stiff. Hell the hood will stay open with just one spring attatched. I got a replacement hinge on its way. I was going to try a pair of springs for a fiberglass hood since they aren't as stiff.
