Default 66 6 cylinder problem

I've got a 66 Mustang with the 200 CID 6-cylinder. When I drive the car long enough that the engines get completely warmed up, and shut it off, and try to start it again about 10 to 15 minutes later, it will start, but it acts like its not getting fuel. It will spit and sputter. I have to get the rpms up to get it too stop, and then it will run fine. I have replaced my mechanical fuel pump and have also changed my fuel line from the steel to rubber, still with no luck. Can you offer any help?
Thanks
