i seemed to have misplaced my bolts that connect the door latch to the body, i belive there is six for each side anyway, the local mustang shop is out i need them quick so does anyone know what size they are so i can go to ace hardware to get some thanks. for a 1965 hardtop

 

Hmmm… Grade 5 flat head screws with conical star washers. Not likely to see those at the hardware store. Get the kit from your favorite Mustang supplier. Glazier's stocks them, likely they all do.

 

um maybe iam lost but these are body bolts not flat head or a screw

 

The door latch on the body? There is a striker for the door on the body, but no latch. Are you talking about hinges?

 

hinges sorry i dont know the offical term, they bolt the door to the body near the back of the fender

 

Excellent, those are 5/16 x 1" with a star washer. I have a bunch of them, too bad you are not closer.
