HUH ? whats the rear package shelf?? is it in the very back of the car where it looks like you can lift that section up behind the seat?? is it held down by anything or do you just pry it up?

In a fastback you must remove the panel between the rear seat and the trunk "trap door". There will be two oval plugs near the back edge of the seat.

Remove the two trim screws near the front, and the long screws in the two chrome cups at the rear. Lift the front edge of the panel and slide it forward.
