Default front wheel well height

the left side of my 66 mustang is 1.25 inches higher then my right side-the new springs that were installed are correct-is it possible to drop the left side to match the height of the right side by cutting the left side spring by 1.25 inches???

probably not what you want to hear, but it sounds like your car might be twisted

i would take it to a frame shop and have them look at it before i started cutting springs

Just let some air out of the tire on the high side.

OK Sorry. j/k.

Even if a spring perch is damaged it won't cause a 1.25" discrepancy. If your coils are a matching set and your shocks are OK, like dcohen said, it sounds like the frame is tweaked. Uneven springs are dangerous. Don't do it.

It could also be a body panel fitment issue from being in an accident.
