Default correct power steering pump?

Hi,
I have a late 65 stang convertable and had some front end work done on it. The first thing they replaced was the power steering pump and sent it in for the core. It was not the problem and now I have a non orginial power steering pump. By the time I found out it was to late. My old one had a cap. My rebuilt one has a coil dip stick. I thought my old one was a eaton and bought a early 65 eaton on ebay. It does not fit. Anyone know what mine was with a eaton looking dip stick with a cap? btw I now have a eaton 64 early 65 power steering pump for sale.
thanks, Walt

Default RE: correct power steering pump?

Sorry Skip. That is a technical question I am afraid we don't know the answer to. And, BTW. Welcome to the classic section of the MF. Great first post. Sorry about the non-responses. Here is what your dipstick should look like.
