motor stalls
My 69 coupe will stall after 20 min of driving if parked it keeps just enough fuel in fliter to keep running at idle. It has new fuel pump, lines front to back and has a new tank. Have tried with gas cap on and off same result. I have a glass fuel filter when i start out it is full of fuel and slowly you can watch air replace the fuel in the filter.

Maybe you just need to set your float level. My old carb was doing the same thing, but it would run like crap after I burned all of the fuel out of the bowl because there just wasnt enough to keep it running.. It needed a rebuild so I just purchased a new intake and carb instead.. Runs like a champ now.. 2bbl to 4bbl swap was awsome! It may just be your carb and not your fuel lines/pump..

vapor lock
is it a mechanical fuel pump or electrical ? if electrical mount near tank.
otherwise your problem is directly related to heat. somehwere the fuel line is getting to warm. could be even the carb getting to warm.
try with one of those phenolic spacers under the carb.
at the same time: is your engine getting to hot at idle? mine did because I had underdrive pulleys (the pulley on waterpump was bigger than the one on crank).maybe blocked radiator causing engine to get too warm etc
as said I had the same problem and it was a combination of things, but all related to heat.

this was what it was before fixing. iot shows fuel pressure, not fuel filter. but essentially the same. air/gas in fuel line-> pressure goes down as you can compressed air.
i changed the following:
- fuel pump
- pulleys
- radiator fan (had 5 spoke clutch fan with clutch missing, replaced with 7spoke flex fan)
- added carb spacer to keep the heat from intake away from carb
everything had effect on it, the combination fixed it. So check on all that
