you should have used a traditional 2k primer after the etch. the etch is supposed to be primed over before paint.

with that siad the texture is good for durability :P so it will be fine on the lower side of the car

Is the paint going to lift or go south because I didn't prime after the etch?

Priming is misunnderstood.... it is a good thing that one of the 72 new "czars" Obama has apointed is a "Primer Czar" to get us all straightened out...
