i just took off my KYB gr-2's because they just weren't a nice ride. i bought a new set of Doetsch tech shocks-non gas- $185.00. huge differance. i have a 66 fastback.
I'd suspect they were blown out. GR-2's are about equivalent to Monroe SensaTracs. They're designed specifically for ride quality, whereas the Gas-A-Justs are designed for handling and are particularly stiff as a result.
I have and like a set of Edelbrock IAS's. They ride much better than the Gas-A-Justs I removed, and they handle better to boot. They do a much better job of keeping the tires planted on the pavement.
