ok now im questioning this stuff....I've heard so many things

I've heard that 289's and most classic mustangs dont need premium because the compression ratio isnt high enough for premium to matter....waste of money

I've heard that premium will benefit ANY engine in hp and mpg

Then just a bit ago my friend told me our mutual friend took a gasoline chemical class and he said that basically every gas station has to adhere to the same standards and that this "nitrogen enriching", (i love your post 2+2 lol) "cleaning additives" (minus cali), etc is all CRAP

I've heard of someone with a supercharged New Edge mustang that put Shell premium in his car and his dad on a weekend driving it around put premium Arco in it and it destroyed the engine

This debate needs to end. does anyone here have a phd in chemical engineering?

oh and for the record I use Safeway gas or 7-11 gas (which is....um....well use to be citco) midgrade
