Today I decided to put the Light Ivy Gold vinyl on the lower dash. The initial install went fine without any issues. The hardest part is cutting out the holes and wrapping the vinyl around behind the dash. I tossed the gauges, heat controls, ashtray and dash trim in for fun to see how it'll look. The glovebox door and ashtray both get the Dark Ivy Gold vinyl for contrast. Dash pad there now is the old black one but I have the Dark Ivy Gold dash pad here which will be installed later.
I'll finish it up tomorrow then back to wiring again.

Thats an interesting touch. Its hard to tell from the pics. I bet it looks better in person. It looks like it should be nice. I covered my package tray with black vinyl to match my interior better an it looks 10 times better like that than painted black.
Does the pad not go all the wat to the windshield and have a little extra metal in the space from it to the windshield. I was thinking maybe you could put some of that green vinyl in that space and keep the pad black. Just an idea.

Did the glovebox door last night in the dark IG and tossed it in today to test fit for the Vintage Air setup behind it. The back right hand side on the glovebox needs to be cut and a plate is put on due to the size of the new system. It's not meant to be fit to the dash at this point. The contrast between the light and dark looks great and I cant wait for the interior to go in.

Some of the new wires showing here as well. Need to get that wrapped up soon, then onto the trany and engine build.

Thanks. Pic posted above showing the dark on the glovebox, ashtray will also be dark. I have 3 very small 1/2" long by 1/16" wrinkles in it which very few people would ever see. Anything you do see in the pics is from the dust on the vinyl as I used a soft sanding block over everything to ensure everything was well pressed on and flat.
I think it looks great. At first I was unsure of how it would turn out when you mentioned it in another thread. It looks almost like it could be factory. Kinda one of those things that when you see it at a show you're like "Is there something different about that dash?" lol.
