I forget what I used this trick for, but if you find a bad bubble and can't peel off to try again.. put some adhesive into a tiny syringe and squirt it into the bubble. My father was a doctor, so it was easy for me to get a small needle. These days you would need a prescription from your physician, I guess.

Its a fairly easy thing to do. Must have a second person there to help. I started drivers side and had a buddy on the passenger side holding the other end up as i guided, lightly stretching and pressed it on. Section it off by applying spray adhesive from drivers side to between ashtray/radio, then over to glovebox, then finish it off. Leave the end wrap around till after you do the sections. You'll need some contact cement afterwards to get the lower edges, etc.

No bubbles at this point but yes, your correct in this trick.
