Default Coil Springs

Hello guys. I am looking to replace my stock coil springs! I don't really know much about them. What coil springs would you guys recommend for a daily driver 67 stang? I have a 302 engine if that helps. I am also looking to get shocks. I want a smooth ride but good handling at the same time.

When I go over train tracks or bumps I dont want it to feel like I'm going over a bunch of boulders.

I'd probably recommend GT replacement springs from an OEM supplier (like Glazier's and NPD).

For shocks, KYB GR-2's will give a good ride, or Gas-A-Justs for a firmer ride. Edelbrock shocks are the best of both worlds, but are more expensive.

I looked at NPD and Glazier's website and catalogs and couldn't find the GT replacement springs.

You may need to give them a call. They can definitely get them for you.

Yeah, sounds like GT springs and GR-2's are what you want, it will be a bit firmer than stock(non GT springs) but still pretty soft by performance standards.
