Default coupe fold down seat

Is it possible to put a fold down rear seat in a 66 coupe?

You'd have to fabricate a hinged seat back, but it could be done. This was a well-known accessory on Corvairs.

If you mean like the 2005 and newer Mustangs which fold down to extend the trunk space forward, that would put your gas tank in the passenger compartment. Don't forget the floor of your trunk is the top of your gas tank.
