Default Then and now...

Finally broke down to have my heads done once and for all
wound up costing me 365 for everything...
this included cleaning
magnafluxing
grind valves
grind seats
replace 6 guides
tend to 6 seats
and a little bit of porting.... he did that as a favor because he wants to see kids into American cars.... instead of "Them Damn Rice Burners"

he also told me in 1975
the same thing would have costed $16.75

HAHAHAHA!

If by that you mean he opened up the crappy little exhaust ports, hooray! These are the weak point in 289/302 performance.

Haha I love being 17 with my American muscle cars

I totally despise ricer fart crap cars. And would buy a Ford any day over a foreign brand.

Gotta love a clean engine!

I agree its Awesome, I cant wait until my mach 1 is driveable and i pull up next to a honda with a resonator... haha

The other great thing is all the older generations stopping by when I'm working on it and asking hey whats in that thing then having 20 minute converstations with them about it and what they used to drive, man i wish i was around when these cars were new and gas was cheap!
