Default Help Decoding

I'm hoping someone can help me decode the casting code on my block. I found the code when I pulled the starter and have been trying to figure out what it means. Everything I am seeing says that the first or second digit is supposed to be a letter which corresponds to the year. I triple checked my code and it is 75ZY-6015-AA. Does this mean anything to anyone or can you tell me where to find out what it means?

How did you find that out? What does that mean, are these replacement motors or did they put Mexican blocks in from the factory?

I searched "75ZY-6015-AA casting number" on google. You have to pick the right site though.

According to some sites it is supposed to be stronger than the regular block. I don't know if they put them in stock though.

Thanks for the help. There seems to be some spirited debate on whether or not the Mexican block is actually stronger. I saw some pictures and it looks like the main caps are definitely bigger. From what I can tell though they only came in trucks and vans (don't quote me on that though).

the mexican blocks used different materials in the casting process. more nickel content i believe which made for a stronger block.

Some people say that's true and others say it's a myth, I'll go with true. Sadly I don't know much about the motor as it was rebuilt before I got it. It sounds like it has a mild cam. I know the Boss 302 had 351C heads. Can I put these heads on my 302 without clearance issues or are there better heads? It already has headers, a Weiand intake, and Holley 600cfm carb, what else can I do?

I'd like it to be streetable but make the occasional trip to the Woodburn drags.
