Default Cowl assembly help

I have a 1970 coupe that i'm bringing back from the dead, mother nature almost won. If you want to see more pics, see: http://www.isookzo.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13055

Now i've hit a small speedbump, the replacement cowl assembly (CJ Pony Parts) doesn't 100% fit right (yet). I need some opinions.

On the left side it fits good, on the rightside is the trouble area. There a gap, about 1 centimeter. Should i just use a hole lot of clamps, weld it and let it sit for about a week to settle it? And then adjust the last piece where the window sits? (red stripe)

Also i have 2 spare parts that came with the cowl, any ideas where they belong?

I've got this car 1 year ago, and will get all the sheetmetal ready this summer. Even my dog can't wait to hit the road.

Thanks,
Steffan

Those extra parts look like where the fenders bolt into. I think don't quote me on that though.

Yup thats what they are,the tabs that the fenders bolt into.the square hole is where the clip for the fender bolt goes.

I can't help you much, but dang you have some mad skills (this means you are very talented), especially after looking at your other post.

I'm very impressed with your work.

Over here we have 220 and 380 V. I'm using the 220 V. Brand of welder, i'll need to look that up, it's my uncles.
