Default Runaway Power Steering

I installed a new power steering system in my '69 and when I start turning the steering wheel, the power steering goes nutz. The steering wheel will swing from one stop to the other and if you try to hold the steering wheel still, it causes the belt to start slipping.

Any suggestions?

You have the cylinder hoses reversed. Disconnect them at the cylinder end and switch them.

Yes, the two 'short' hoses are reversed, disconnect both at one end and swap one end.

I switched the lines and it is now working great. First time in over ten years this Stang has circled the block. I Appreciate your help and the work continues.
