Default Progress again.. 351w, toploader, int, etc

Here are a few things we've been working on the past few days. Today was the start of the engine build. I rebuilt the toploader with a new output shaft since mine was cracked. Doors have power window regulators/power locks/vinyl covered/rebuild vent windows. Redid the seats over the past few weeks when I had a day at home and not at the garage.

Edit.. I forgot the cover plate when I took the housing in for powder coating as you can see. Got 3 coats of industrial red enamel for now.

What Steering Wheel?
How did you prep the doors for paint?, mine has light rust but i need to preserve the texture.

It's a LeCara steering wheel by Moto-Lita. The inner doors are not painted. I hit them in 2-part epoxy primer to seal & protect them, then upholstered them in light ivy gold vinyl. The center door section will get the replacement dark ivy gold inserts per normal. If you look closely at the lower dash (typically painted) you'll see its also been upholstered in the light ivy gold. No seams on the doors or dash.. thats 1 piece of vinyl from end to end on the lower dash.

Paint free interior.. just to be different. (and I wonder why its taking longer to finish the thing!)
