Default Cobra Wheels!

Looking at these two types of cobra wheels on summit. The first one is 8" wide and the second is 9" wide. Will either of this fit on my 1969 mustang with easy-to-find wheel adapters? I also plan on having 13" SSBC disk brakes up front just fyi. I appreciate your guys responses

You might want 8" wide up front and 9" on the rear. I think these are the same offset as my 2003 Mach1 Wheels, so this thread might be of help to you.

Good luck!

I haven't gotten a straightforward response from any website or anything yet. It seems that the rear won't create any problems, but would 9" wide wheels (im assuming i would need wheel spacers) work on my car? By work I mean no rubbing/interference/problems etc. AND what size wheel spacers would I need for front and rear?

We carry this wheel as well. You can call and talk to Scott in sales, he is pretty familiar with fitment when you have the 5 lug conversion. 1-866-273-3651

put similiar wheels, 99 cobra wheels 17x8 on my 66, had to run a spacer up front (less than an inch) and no spacer required in the rear. Could have even gone to a 8.5 or possibly a 9" wide wheel in the back with a little bit of fender tucking and playing with offsets, but there was only 1 offset available.

Really? You got nothing out of my post?
There is no straightforward answer. You have to take measurements, do the math, and hope it all works out. There is some risk involved and charts don't always work.

you can either poke around online and see what everyone else is doing or go get some straight edges and tape measurers and figure out exactly what you can and cant fit inside your wheels wells.

Exactly, if you don't invest the time, you'll likely be unhappy with the results. Either way, you have no one to blame but yourself if stuff rubs, so do it right.
