Default Neutral Safety Switch

If the car is not in park (automatic trans) will the safety switch cause there to be no electricity or just make the car not start? Because I can not get any kind of electric signal on the car haha

only thing a neutral safety switch does is not allow you to crank the motor over in any other trans position other than park or neutral.

all electronics should work fine regardless of the NSS.

Well I am screwed. Guess I have to figure out why I can not get any type of power when I put the key in the ignition.

Check something that always has power, like the horn or lights. start by determining if it's dedicated power, or switched power thats the problem?
