Personally, I would go with the KYB shocks. But you should look into Edelbrock performance shocks also, as I have been reading a lot a good things about them lately.

I would go with the KYB gas adjust shocks all the way around, and do not jack that rear end up. You will get laughed at by any Mustanger out there.
If your Mustang has a sagging butt, then you need new rear leaf springs. One of the unwritten laws among Mustang owners is that there can be no extension shackles, mud flaps or shocks that jack the rear up.

As for the shocks - Edelbrocks are all they claim to be, but way expensive. I've got the GR2s on my fastback and am quite pleased with them. Soaring is indeed correct though: shocks are not meant to restore ride height - that's the springs' job.
yub, they were saggers from the get go...
Great info guys anyone got any info on other brands? maybe you can list 2 or 3 more alt for him to compare will help him with his decision

If you want some lift, air shocks are not the best way to get it. They basically suck. Get some new springs that provide some lift or add some helper springs, which will also reduce wheel hop.
The only valid reason for lift is to clear too wide of a tire and prevent rubbing when bottoming out...IMHO.

Yeah, there are Koni shocks, but too rich for my pocketbook. After new springs in the rear, do the Shelby drop in the front to get that look. Not only will you like the looks, you will enjoy better handling from both the front and the rear.
i personnally like the low back and higher or parellel front end.it makes the car look mean..i was thinkin about getting the 2 inch drop or reverse eye leaf spring to get this look..anyone used this leaf sring and check my other thread on trying to get one to hawaii
