Default Car Cover Recommendation

I'm wanting to get a car cover to keep the dust off of the car so I don't have to wash it as much. It's always parked in the garage and never sees rain so I don't need anything that is water repellent. Just something to keep dust off. The MOST important thing is that the cover WON'T scratch the paint. There are so many car covers out there that are made of these fancy schmancy fabrics but scratch the hell out of paint. I've heard that you can't go wrong with 100% cotton but that may be a rumor as well. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!

Thanks

Just go to Wal-Mart. Don't spend a bunch of money on some name brand cover out of a mustang parts catalog that claims to be gentle on the car. my brother has an 89 Mustang and a 69 Torino both of which have Wal-Mart covers. They aren't show cars though, but they don't have any paint scratches. if ur car is a 100 point show car then I can understand u wanting to spend a bunch of money on a good car cover but if your car is just a good looking Sunday driver then I wouldn't get too worked up about it.

ive got a cheap walmart one but i hate it. it is one of the bigger universal coveres but it doesnt cover 100% of my '65.

you can get custom fit ones from cover king for $120 and they are supposed to go to the floor damn near and cover the entire car.

or if you wanna go for the big bux they have a $330 cover thats a stretch satin with fleece on the inside but im thinkin you dont need to lol.

with me hating my walmart cover i am honestly thinkin of just going to a fabric store, buying a bunch of fleace or something similar and just draping it over the car. if i get real ambitious maybe have a lady friend sew it together
