Default Would this work?

I was kicking around doing something as part of dressing up my engine bay some.

Looking at this:

http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.a...cd2=1250739593

I am wondering if it would fit on the non engine bay side of the radiator support. Kind of behind the grill / under the horns.

Did some measuring and it looks like it just might barely fit.

Anyone ever tried something like this or know anyone that has?

I just mounted 2 of them to our rad the other day to test fit in the bay. I got 2 of the 18" tall tanks and they will just fit in the 67. A 16" would have fit better as the 18s are a bit tall and the bottoms end up quite low. The 13" tanks should easily fit. Check eBay as I got these 2 for 35.00 each +12.00 shipping last year.

I'll post a few pics shortly.. Here you go..

Drivers side = washer fluid & Passengers side = overflow

Read above again. Only 1 is being used as an overflow.. the other is for washer fluid.

I bought one of those, and I quickly ended up returning it. It feels a bit cheap plus, the cap on so tight that I couldn't find a spot in my engine bay where it would be convenient to unscrew it. But either way everyone has their own preference

They are designed to mount vertically on the existing side radiator bolts. I doubt it would work properly if mounted horizontally.

Thats correct. You could have them at a bit of an angle but thats it.

Thanks for the tips and the pictures look great Adrenolin.

I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer...I didn't even catch that they mount on with the rad. bolts, LOL!

I was thinking of hiding it on the other side of the radiator support vertically. However, mounting it by the radiator is cool and can go with the longer one if I were mounting it there.

My overflow is pretty trashed and someone gave me a gift card from CJ Pony for my b-day so I was thinking of splurging some and buy this one :-)
