Is this a 289??

Default Is this a 289??

ok well i started to tear down the engine and noticed that the heads say 289 but when i looked in the lifter valley it wasnt marked with 289 cf or wf instead it just had the number 18....anything on this? or is there someplace else i can find the code on the block?

hmm... maybe 289 heads on a late model block?

hm...well i just found the code on the block near where the start would go its deff. a 289 guessing they didnt stamp the early blocks in the lifter valley i dont really know....
