Default Here comes the heartbreak :(

Well, today I sold the 66. I REALLY needed to sell it due to my situation, and I still have the 05, but man it hurt to see the new owner drive away in it. I felt like a I was giving my daughter away, and even asked the guy what his plans for MY car were. As the story goes, I lost quite a bit of money overall, but the ownership expierience was very rewarding. But given the current market I got a fair price and I believe he did too considering the car he has to start with now. I even told the new owner about this site, so maybe he will join up.

Time for a bottle of Jack and some country music to nurture this seller's remorse.

Sorry to hear you had to sell it. Things get well again and maybe you'll find something else down the road.

I will definatly be back in the market someday. Tomorrow is my last day in the army after 10 years and I am gonna go to school to be a firefighter/emt. The new GI Bill will pay me about $1100 a month for living expenses, but that will be a HUGE pay cut. So she had to go. In the end it will work out better cuz I really wanted 66 or 69 fastback. Knowing what I know now, I will hold out and wait for the right car to come along once I am out of school.

Man I feel your pain brotha, I had a 1969 Ford Mustang. It was the 1st car I bought with my own money and I loved that thing!! I would literally spend hours on it, I loved that car. But, after I new job and less time to work on it I decided for some dumb reason to let it go and maybe focus on getting a new car...man I regretted that decision real quick! It sucked to see her go with a new owner, and it didn't take long for me to decide to get another mustang but, 6 months later I found my 67. I love my 67 too but, my 69 was still my favorite! Here's a pic of it

I sold my 65 coupe when I was in college and about 7 years later I bought my current 66 and I believe I got a much better deal and it is a much better car I believe. It did suck when I sold my first one though... It does get better
