Default Is my Tranny an AOD?

Ok so I think I figured out why everything is backwards with my tranny... previous posts stated that the lever *Facing down* pointing forward towards the front would be reverse... where on MINE it's park meaning using a linkage I would have to put it in reverse for it to be in park... I got to thinking about the kick down and it said that on a C4 it's not really necessary... you just need to manually shift down on hard accels. But on AOD's it's sorta needed to not Fubar the tranny. so I went outside and counted the bolts holding the pan on... there are 14 of them... C4s I've read have 11... non-computer controlled AOD's from the 80s have 14... And I don't know how much this matters but the tranny dipstick is on the passenger side of the car.

Do I have an AOD?...

The only reason It matters is because, for now I'm just trying to get the car drivable so I can use it to drive.

Edit: Did some more looking... It might be an FMX...

It's an FMX... I've looked at the gasket of one and the shape, it's identical.

Yay, I have an FMX... Do THESE apsolutlely need a Kickdown Cable?

Guess I gotta get a kickdown then... Any suggestions?...

Anyone say anything about the Lokar Universals?
For that matter... How they even are supposed to be installed would be a good thing to know as well...
I think 2+2GT posted a Diagram a while back but I think that was just explaining how the kickdown lever was installed on a C4...
