Yeah that video you posted is how mine function. It looks like his lenses are different probably because of the angle. Well thats pretty cool if Mustang Project could make you a module that can make it blink from lit to fully lit like the originals, but would it cost extra to have them done?

I must vouch for their product though, it looked very nice, was VERY easy to install, and it is as bright as advertised. I've also heard great things about their customer service, even though I personally haven't had to deal with them. If they can make you ones like the originals only with LEDs I think that would be your best bet, LEDs don't get nearly as hot, last longer, and are brighter (and therefore safer). Just my opinion though.

I'll try to get a video of mine tonight then

He didn't say if it would cost more or not.

I'm really still leaning towards the incandescent setup. I just think it suits my car better.

I have been to MP's store before and they have very good customer service from what I have seen.

My LED's go dark for a split second after the third bar lights up.
If you get the incandescents I would love to see video of them.

I'll definitely make a video if I get the incandescent setup.

I got Scott Drake to email me the installation instructions. It is a bit more complicated than installing the LED setup from Mustang Project. I would have to run an additional power wire to the trunk and a few other things. The LED setup would only take a few minutes.

I also like the fact that the incandescent setup sequences once before staying on during braking.

I also have a SS unit with filiment bulbs that works very well in the 67. No LED's for me.
Whats SS mean, solid state? Do you have the Scott Drake setup on your 67? How much was actually required to install them?

Do you have a video of it?

They do? Like both of them blink outward and then stay lit? That is BAD *** I would be sold on that, the LED's dont work like that

I think mustang project was going for ease of installation and still having a nice product. If they added all the cool stuff the incandescent ones have it probably would be just as hard to install as the incandescent ones. I would love to see that braking light up though

Yeah, I like that they sequence as the brakes are applied. Thats cool.

Your right about that. The incandescent setup requires quite a bit more time to install than the MP LED setup does.

I can't decide. I'm going to think about it a little more.

I actually have the Scott Drake kit...I bought it 4 months before the LED panels came out (several years ago). It works well but there are a few changes in the wiring harness. Scott Drake also has thicker lenses that are able to stand up to the heat and not warp. Honestly, I would go with a LED setup if I could go back...I haven't had any trouble with mine but the LEDs are easier to install. The most I will do now is to buy LED bulbs and replace to old style bulbs...the kit is already installed so I figure why take it out. It is cool being able to adjust the sequencing speed though.

The lights so sequence upon breaking and then stay on...I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thats good to know you are happy with yours.

Do they function like that video I posted with the Cougar? Hopefully they stay lit on tail light when the blinker is on like the OEM lights do. The LED doesn't.

The LED definitely looks easier. I just like the look of them better than the LED. The LED is too instant on and instant off. Thats the only thing I don't like about them.

FYI, the kit says not for use with high intensity or LED bulbs. It has a warning that says only use regular 1157.
