Sequential Tail Lights Incandescent
Thanks for the input SuperHoss.
The Deluxe kit is what I plan on ordering soon.
I feel the same way. I try not to cut corners. The goal of my car is to preserve the vintage old school style. It does have some modern upgrades, but I want to keep it as much that way as possilbe. I like to modify things to some extent just not as much as some do.

Additional info...
1. The emergency flashers are not sequential; they are the same as the stock quick flash. All six "bars" flash together at the same time quickly.
2. A different flasher is used with sequentials; the stock flasher will not work (can't remember if it was with both versions, though). Check for sure, but I believe that the proper flasher comes with the kit.
3. The front turn signals and all TS indicators only flash when a cycle in back is completed, so it's a 3x slower flash than the stock timing. No big deal, just different because it's really slow and it feels funny at first.

I believe it's 6 LEDs per blinker in the hood, but I also think its like 60 bucks if I remember right...
Personally, the sequential tail lights look like they could have been orig equip (at least in style), just like a cougar or t-bird.
The hood lights, however, look a little too led-ish/futuristic, like they came off the dashboard of the Starship Enterprise. JMO. (OK, I realize the Starship Enterprise was invented in 1966, but you know what I mean)
You also have to take into account that animated gifs of the lights that you see online aren't blinking at the same speed as real life. You browser will vary the speed based on several things. The images at project mustang look close to real timing for me (a slight bit faster than real time, actually) on a PC in Firefox.

I can see that. They do look a bit like star trek. LOL...
If I had a 67-68 with the hood with the indicators they would probalby be left alone. I would just get them to work the way they were suppose to.

I found this on Mustang Monthly's website. I thought it might be useful for someone else wanting to do the same thing.

I am going to have to wait a little while to order the sequential kit. I have to do some things to my F150 first. I'm also probably going to install emergency flashers in the Stang before I put the sequentail setup in.

I bought the Scott Drake incadecscent kit from CJ Pony Parts (with their 10% off weekend discount) & am very happy with them. They do sequence once on braking.
They were pretty easy to install. I guess hardest part would be running a new power wire to the trunk, but I already had run a big power wire for my audio amps, so I just tied into that & put an inline fuse holder on it.
If I figure out how, I'll do a video of it at night & post it here.

I was going to get it a while back, but had some things come up. I also bought and NOS emergency flasher setup on ebay and that wasn't cheap.
Does your power wire have constant 12v or is it switched with the ignition?
That would be cool if you made a short video. I'd like to see it.
I was going to leave mine constant power and add a fuse to it.
I know its been a while, but I had other things I was working on. I finally ordered the kit. I'm now looking to see where the best place to mount the modules would be. For those that have the incandescent kit, where did you mount yours? Thoughts?
