New Grille
I definitely like it a whole lot!
When you look at the front facia of the Mustang, it was designed with a nod towards the P51 oil cooler air duct. The P51 did not have any trim, and was smoothed around the opening to create a smoother flow of air over the cooler.
Your modification takes that Ford "nod", and gives it a big tip of the hat as well.
Takes a lot of work to smooth the front facia to eliminate the grill surround.
Excellent job, Very classy, and two big Gear-head thumbs up!
Have you considered a black screen behind the grill to keep out the bugs, and darken the area behind the grill to hide the hood latch support and radiator?

LOL--I was wondering if anyone would notice the dual purge.
Looks great. To add to the thought of a black background, I wonder what it would look like with some of the newer black honeycomb placed behind. It would still allow straight airflow, but unless you were down looking straight in you would see a black backdrop. I really like it, but my taste would be to put some sort of badging on it. Maybe the blue oval, or maybe a mustang silhouette or something along those lines.
