Default crane HI-6 :-)

I had a poll between msd ignition box and quick fuel carb. I figured that siunce I have a mallory distributor and everyone seemed to thing great about Crane I'd just ****** one of their HI-6 boxes.
Some will know from the old thread that the box is 220+ dollars and the matching coil over 50$ as well. But summit has an incredible offer at the moment which sells the pair of them in silver for an unbelievable 99$

I checked on the manual and it's compatible with the mallory unilite I have in my trunk begging me to put it back in.

Buddy of mine ordered it for me and I must say only by looking at it it seems to be great quality. The coil comes with it's own cooling frame that can be mounted to the chassis, the boix itself is not painted, but silver and it seems to be good cooling as well. All connections apart from battery connectors are watertight (great quality connectors). since cutting them off voids warranty they supply a bunch of adapters as well. There's even a boot for the spark plug wire with it. I've never seen a set like this where manufacturer makes such an effort.
I'll start to install the box on Friday, but as i'm away I'll probably finish off monday.

I'll take pictures. such a great value to me!
