I got them from Jeg's for $248. I only got the fronts for now because I will replace the rears when I replace all the rear suspension. I sent an email to Koni last night asking them if these were correct. So now I am just waiting for a response. I also told them that I was pretty disappointed that a $250 pair of shocks didn't even come with a sticker in the box. Hopefully I will hear from them today.

I just got an email from Koni and they verified that they are the correct shock for my car. He said they changed the color to a more true red and went to using the new Koni logo on them sometime in 2008. They replied to my e-mail in less than 24hrs so I am pretty happy with the customer service so far. Now I need to get them put on the car and test them out. I will post a review after I put some miles on them.

I have Koni Reds (the reddish-orange ones) on all 4 corners since 1993. They ride today like day one. I might never need to buy a shock again for this car. It's a great product. They are turned all the way out (stiff), so city driving & handling is faster. Higher speed driving (like the freeway) isn't bone rattling at all; assuming the road surface is normal and flat, like asphalt. If I did all freeway driving like a long commute every day with no city driving I might go 3 turns down. JMO, it's really a personal choice.

I switched from KYB to Koni on my 68 several years ago and it was a significant difference. Worth the price difference.
