ebay paypal headache VENT
From what i seen myself never buy or sell anything your not willing to flush the money away.I use to sell cell phone chargers it was fast easy money but i had a few made a stink over one or two that didn't work. One i sent them 2 more trying to make it right they went to paypal took the money back and acted like i was a jerk.I was only out 10 bucks but it was the point really.
I am done with eBay and Paypal. I usually only use it to get rid of "extra" stuff anyhow and have had better luck really with Craigslist.
I've only had to deal with crap like this once, and while Paypal did take the money back from me originally after about a month I finally got it back.
But yeah, eBay / Paypal / Uship are all the same company and they are bastards. Sadly enough, it can sometimes be the best place to buy or sell something.
For local stuff, Craigslist is pretty damn good but be warned that eBay has bought a significant share of Craigslist and I'm sure in the future they will find a way to start profiting off sales.

1. The buyer has a right to his money back. I've never had a prob yet with paypal, but I can appreciate buyer protection. The buyer may ultimately wind up paying a penalty which may include loss of membership if they abuse their right to return an item, but paypal protects the buyer first. That's a broad statement since special circumstances can make the opposite true, but in disputes, refunds happen in most cases.
2. If a third party who needs to inspect the part and report on it is involved, your part
might easily be in a queue waiting for somebody to take it off the pile and open it up.
3. Unless the economy is in the crapper worse than I imagined, $300 is a great price for a stock console, unless it's in real disrepair. If I got one for $300 and it was in good condition but cracked, I would still think it was a deal.

Ok, I can mark it as "paid" on eBay, but I don't need to do that right now. I see a "claim payment" button in eBay, but still when it takes me to my Paypal account there is nothing. What a P.I.T.A.
