Default removing old panel adhesive

Almost done working on the back in, and looking towards building a steel hood. Wanted to use my old hood frame and skin for parts. What is a good product that will remove the adhesive between the skin and the hood frame? The shop advised that media blasting will warp the skin. I think a sawzall would damage the skin. Any ideas? Is aircraft stripper strong enough?
