King cobra 10.5 inch clutch, 302 flywheel with 28 oz imbalance and we used a hydraulic clutch. The hydraulic clutch was to not have to deal with a cable clutch getting burned on the headers.

I used a King Cobra clutch on my old T5 and liked it, but started slipping due to the amount of torque I'm pushing. Don't have any #'s yet, but we're guessing ~450ish. I'm waiting on my new T5 Z-spec which should come in this week. I'll be using a Center Force dual friction clutch kit. Should grab a little better, but I'll see how that goes...
What kind of setup do you have on your car? and, how will you be driving it?

Im amazed your clutch slipped before the trans scattered... That dual friction should finish the job

i am running the center force dual friction and i dont like it. It really feels soft. I think that it could grab a little better. however i am running stock gears with an open diff. i will have my new rear end in this weekend so i will know a little more.

Well, the pedal is firm but it just doesnt feel like it grabs hard. i had the same dual friction in a built 93 300zx and it was fine. i think it is due to my gearing. i also installed a hydro clutch slave so that may have something to do with it.

I'm running a King Cobra clutch too. It only has 2k miles on it, but so far I am happy with it.
