I prefer the RAM copy of the C7ZZ 289HP/BOSS 302 clutch, which I have used both on my 289HP and on T5 conversions. I avoid clutch cable problems by using the OEM pushrod and bellcrank clutch linkage. Very reliable.

I started with a Centerforce DF and it was junk. Slipped and chattered from day one. Had Mcleod check everything and everthing looked fine. They wouldnt even sell me a clutch because they couldnt see a problem and theirs might not fix it. Well i got their street/strip clutch and it was working great for years...........till the turbo met up with it. I will stick with Mcloed when i upgrade.

King Cobra clutch in our car too. It's a little heavy with the stock linkage, and it definitely doesn't like to be feathered.

What about Superior Clutches? Anyone try those yet?
