I painted the floor in my garage, it wasn't a terrible adventure, but I figure a few of you might like to do the same thing, so I wrote about it here:

Great job, I've been wanting to do that to mine for years. Maybe next summer??? Every time I go into Lowes, I look at those floor kits, thinking I want to do that. Damn it.

i was just worried about being slick. i have a carport that i'd like to do but if rain got in... slip and fall

My brother (who also has his floor epoxy painted.. to park his Porsche in...) says that if it gets wet, it's slick. They make a grip mix that you can put in the paint that makes it, I guess, grippy.

Kits come with sand that you mix into either epoxy or sealer top coat. Mixed with mine looks slick - but not at all.
