Default V6 Upgrade

okay so..

i now have a '65 6 cylinder mustang. its a nice car. but the thing is.. i want more power from the engine. i kno that there are special parts and whatnot that you could install that would beef the engine up.. but i have no idea which parts they are.

it might be expensive to buy all the parts.. but hey.. i got the car for free from a relative's friend.. so any money i put into it is profit for me [hopefully].

does anybody have any suggestions as to which parts i can install and from where i can get them?

thanks

I think you might get better help in the classic section. I'm going to move this to Classics, but I'll leave a trace here also. Soaring is pretty up on the old Stangs. Good luck.

Are you sure you don't have an inline 6 instead of a V6? Ive never heard of a V6 in a classic.

If it is in fact an inline 6, then take a look at this article:
http://mustangmonthly.com/techarticl...perform_guide/

It's a I6 performance guide from mustang monthly.
