sending unit...fast help plz

Trying to install my oil pressure gauge before I fire my new motor. The bigger electric sending unit will not fit in the location by the feul pump and oil filter. Is there another location I can install the sending unit?

There is supposed to be an extension on all oil pressure gauge senders. Any Mustang supplier has these.
