Default Buying a blank CA plate for my 67 abroad?

Hi,

I don't know if it is possible but is there a way to get a blank California licence plate that I could use on my Mustang currently in France?

Thanks,

There's a website called easypl8s.com that has some blank plates (no California listed) or some used California plates. They might be able to get a hold of a blank California one for you.

Not blank, but you can personalize any way you want. You can e-mail them and ask if they will sell you a blank plate.

I can tell you, they are quick to ship, but not cheap.

that might attract unwanted attention from cops. most cops know that they didn't have personalized plates back then when they were black and yellow, so if you're rocking a black plate that says "FST PNY" chances are you're getting a ticket.

He said he's going to use it in France so I would think he'd be ok. My guess is it will be used along with the proper plates for France. I've never been there so I'm not sure how strict they would be about something like that.

Myself and many other folks on VMF have had no problems with custom black/yellow plates. Since the year of the vehicle matches the plate style, most cops won't bother pulling you over. Emphasis on MOST. If I put a black/yellow plate on my 2010 GT I'm sure that would be a different story.

do you think it would be possible to get one of those black and yellow plates made and then have them put your real lisence plate numbers on it? so even though they didnt issue it, if you get pulled over itll still match up to your car
