Default Floor pan caulking

I have gotten some minor rust around some of the floor pan caulking in the rear pans. I have removed the rust and caulking in those areas and put the Chassis Saver over the rust.

In doing all of this I have discovered some more of the caulking is just plain loose and not really on. Should I go ahead and remove only the loose caulk and replace it, or should I even remove what at least appears to be stuck on solid?

Thanks for any help,
Lynn

Lynn, I would remove the loose stuff and recaulk those areas. Eventually you could end up with the same rust problem there. The caulk that is solid I would leave alone.

When you replace it use seem sealer not caulk.

Thanks!!
I'll go through it and if it looks solid and no rust under it I'll leave it be and if not, I'll reseal it with the seam sealer.
