Default Need 1967 accelerator diagram

Can anyone tell me how the accelerator is attached?? What is the spring clip for and what position should it be in? Pictures anyone??

My son took it apart and does not remember how it should re-attach.

Thanks!!!

Pedal? Why didn't you say so. ALL Mustang pedals were attached in the manner shown, although the 350786-S push nut was often not installed. The spring is installed due to federal law requiring all accelerator pedals to be sprung so that the top of the pedal presses toward the driver.
