Ok, I got a little more work done. I stripped the old interior and was pleased to find everything in great shape underneath. I stripped a few rusted areas, removed all the old sealer. Resealed all the seams and repainted.

Then installed sound proofing on the floor.

The doors and dash were smoothed and painted a gun metal with a light flake in the clear. Wet sanded and buffed out.

I also finished some loose ends under the hood. I refinished the original heater box and mounted it back up with a custom chrome blower motor cover. The wiring now runs inside. Also, there will only be one braided cable running under the hood, ALL wiring is hidden in the fenders for a clean look.

One more shot from the rafters:

That's it so far...

Couple upates and I need some help...

Just finished installing both front seats and backseat. I ripped each one down to the frames, refinished them, replaced the foam and wraped them in new, genuine plastic leather! They came out great!!!

New carpet is installed, new dash pad, headliner and door panels...its great to see it all come together.

I also installed new suspension up front. Drop springs, KYB adjustable shocks and a 11/4" big boy sway bar. All new poly bushings.

The question is, my car was originally a 6 cyl. It has been converted with a 9" rear end and 5 lug drum brakes all the way around (before I bought it). I'm shopping for a disc conversion but have no clue what front spindles I have. How can I tell? Is there a difference between what a 6 cyl 4 lug came with vs a V8? How do I know if they have been changed?

Thanks for your help

Damn man. Looks Better than a lot of shops around here lol (not kidding).

Got any pics or measurements of the spindles ?
Depending on the kit you get, you may not even need your original spindle. Some come with brand new ones, along with new master cylinders even. Like a csrp kit. Used tons of his kits, like them a lot. Nice and complete.Awesome customer service.

Ok, FAST forward a bit. I've been slacking on the updates. I completed all the body work this week while on vacation. This includes: Both rear quarter lower sections, both door skin's, new front fenders, custom side scoops, custom extended headlight buckets and a fabricated lower grill panel along with a new grill.

HID headlights, SSBC brake upgrades AND IT RUNS AND DRIVES WHOOO HOOO!!!! I took it for her first spin today, FREAKIN AWSOME!!! It's got more power, better steeering, big brake upgrades and corners fantastic with the new suspension. It drives completely different!!!

You have done some great work. I agree with Waffles about the grille though.
