Keyless Entry in '66 Mustang
it's not to complicated they make a latch to do it but it's pricey. But all you need is a keyless entry or car alarm and strong enough actuators to attach to the rods. The cheap ones from pepboys and the ones most alarm shops have wont work
You can get power locks from http://www.autoworksparts.com/power_door_locks.htm and http://www.autoworksparts.com/door_l...s_noswitch.htm then you just need window switches and any aftermarket alarm that has keyless entry on it.

Good lord the prices of some of that stuff.
I installed power locks in our 67 coupe for about 40.00 bucks. Any of these type of kits will work just fine. Prices range from 20 to 60 bucks depending on where you buy them from. Once installed I was able to walk out of the garage and down the street about 2 houses before the remotes wouldn't work.
Typically the front actuators and rated at 5Lbs and the rear are either 2 or 3Lbs. I tested both these and either will work though I do suggest the 5Lbs simply because they should last longer.
It only requires 2 small (about 1/8") holes drilled in the door panel hidden under the center insert and some bending of the actuator rod to the locking rod. Google gave me loads of examples of installs for these.
