The only way to get the heat factor down, is by painting it white, or some other light color. Hey, I say go with whatever color you want, and let the air con that you plan to install (hint, hint
) handle the interior temp. Or do a 60-2 air con thing, and roll down the windows while traveling at 60 MpH.
BTW. That is a beautiful Mustang. Make sure it gets into the classic section gallery.

Oh, OK. Hey, there ain't nothing wrong with yeller, but that red thing has to go.
The example you showed is a super color, so if you go with that, then you will be pleased with the outcome, I'm sure. Regarding the air con,......save up your pennies. There are a few guys on here who have added air, and had good results.....so, if you need advice, ask away.

My '67 coupe is candy apple red with a black vinyl top. Black interrior. Damn hot inside (I should really tint some windows on it). Now that it's no longer my daily driver it's not as bad an issue, but it was then.
My project car, '67 fastback is going to be a dark blue with the white stripes. Still debating the interior.

Right after completion, that nasty rear dragging is fixed since this (I've done a lot of suspension work after these were taken).

New project car. Not much has happened on this.
