The only way to get the heat factor down, is by painting it white, or some other light color. Hey, I say go with whatever color you want, and let the air con that you plan to install (hint, hint) handle the interior temp. Or do a 60-2 air con thing, and roll down the windows while traveling at 60 MpH. BTW. That is a beautiful Mustang. Make sure it gets into the classic section gallery.

nice ride.... I like the color you have now, but the black would fit too..... I'm also a fan of the silver/gray look.

Oh, OK. Hey, there ain't nothing wrong with yeller, but that red thing has to go. The example you showed is a super color, so if you go with that, then you will be pleased with the outcome, I'm sure. Regarding the air con,......save up your pennies. There are a few guys on here who have added air, and had good results.....so, if you need advice, ask away.

I saw a nice black one at the show yesterday. his is how I would like mine: Maybe a different color stripe, and maybe a parallel pin stripe on the edge. I have a 69 coupe too.

keep in mind if you go with a dark color your body work better be done very well...imperfections show up more on darker colors

My '67 coupe is candy apple red with a black vinyl top. Black interrior. Damn hot inside (I should really tint some windows on it). Now that it's no longer my daily driver it's not as bad an issue, but it was then.

My project car, '67 fastback is going to be a dark blue with the white stripes. Still debating the interior.

Before.

Right after completion, that nasty rear dragging is fixed since this (I've done a lot of suspension work after these were taken).

New project car. Not much has happened on this.

That Green is nice on that car. My Coupe had a green job from factory, but the PO halfazzzed did it blue. Now it's faded and got primer, looks like a beater, but it hauls.
