Holy weather strip glue!
I am redoing my weatherstripping. when i installed the trunk i used a product that i picked up at autozone. It was the yellow stuff. I suppose it is a common product because i know a few people that were familiar with it.
Well i stopped by So Cal Speed Shop today to pick up a little plastic piece for my door latches and asked them if there was a better adhesive. Long story short, Dude handed me this tube and HOLY CRAP! it is the stickiest stuff that i have used and worked fantastic. It was like a cross between rubber cement and super glue. It went on thin and eassy and after sitting there for 2 min was tackey as hell.
If you are going to do some weatherstrip R&R you must use this stuff.
Oh yeh, the product is black so it doesnt stand out on the rubber. I cannot find it online but im sure you can order it from So Cal. it was $9
